With Spring just around the corner, it is time to start thinking about planting our gardens and choosing what we’d like to grow this season.  This year growers are provided an exciting new resource titled Harvest by Stefani Bittner showing us how to get even more uses and mileage out of our plants.

Whether it’s Elderflower Infused Honey, Flower Pressed Cheese, Blueberry Dye, or a lemongrass salt scrub, the recipes and fresh ideas can be found leaping off these pages. Harvest includes a seemingly endless wealth of thinking outside the box suggestions. Even those of us who have been doing this for a very long time can learn some new tricks.

At 670 pages, In A Different Key: The Story of Autism by John Donvan and Caren Zucker is an extensive and detailed history of autism and it’s elusive causes. Drawing upon social sentiment over the years and focusing on individuals with autism (including many well known household names), this book paints a picture of the evolution of public perception as well as the future for those affected. A highly informative and well researched document.
