Book Review: Lights Out by Ted Koppel

If a disaster, man made or an act of God were to happen today, would you and your family be prepared? Unfortunately, the average American is not prepared and worse, they have no idea how vulnerable we really are as a nation.

In Lights Out, Ted Koppel explores one of the greatest vulnerabilities to our nation, a cyber attack against our infrastructure.  A well planned attack could easily take out everything that we rely on as a technologically dependent nation. Water, food, heat, transportation, gone…for months.

While it seems this book looks at worst case scenarios, it never hurts to be prepared and lots of preparation tips are provided here for both government and individuals.  Time to start making a prepper list of supplies to order. A highly recommended read about something we don’t like to think about…but should.

I received this book from Blogging for Books for this review.
