Book Review: Soframiz by Ana Sortun & Maura Kilpatrick

In this year’s newest eclectic cookbook titled Soframiz, Ana Sortun and Maura Kilpatrick (Sofra Bakery) compile a comprehensive collection of unusual and hard to find recipes gathered from touring eateries across the middle east. Nearly two decades of research and experience go into these pages providing cooks everywhere with a one of a kind invaluable reference.

With an introduction explaining the background and additional thoughts from the authors on each recipe, even the casual cook will be entertained and inspired. Beautiful photos throughout are icing on the cake. Those who want to try something just a little different need Soframiz on their bookshelf.

I received this book from Blogging for Books for this review.
