Cindy released the following announcement on her Facebook page:

“My name is Cynthia Dorfsmith and I am pleased to officially announce my run for Chair of the Coconino County Republican Committee (CCRC).  As many of you know, I have been very active in the CCRC over the past few years.  I have worked with quite a few of you in get out the vote efforts, phone banking, and event organizing.  I also had the honor of being an elected Delegate to the State Convention earlier this year.  I have a lot of new ideas to help grow the party and get young voters more involved.

As Chair, one of my goals will be to ensure that there is a Republican candidate on the ballot for each race in every Coconino County election.  I am confident that this can be done.  I am very exited about the future of the CCRC.
I’m currently serving as the Chair of the Timberview Village Homeowners Association and have been on the board for several years.  I’ve also been twice elected to the Employee Advisory Board at the City of Flagstaff.  I have made it a priority familiarize myself with the State Statutes, Arizona Republican Party Bylaws and Coconino County Bylaws.  I’m also currently studying to become a Certified Parliamentarian and a member of the National Parliamentarian Association.
If you would like to discuss the reasons I am running for Chair, or my goals and aspirations for CCRC, please give me a call or send me an email anytime.  I would love to chat over some coffee or just answer questions over the phone.  I look forward to talking to each one of you in the near future.”
